Why is Asia always known as the 'Exotic Land'??

Only when you use English to describe Asia. Some westerners still think that most of the Asia land are jungles and people live in poor stilt homes. Nevertheless, one of the reasons that Asia is called exotic land is that it has a lot of old culture still being preserved today. Something that the western country may not have.

The name per say As an Exotic land of Asia reflexct the personalites of people in Asia. Lots of beaches, sceneric views, jungles, and once you'll visit the land of Asia, i'm sure you'll never ever forget your experienced to be here.

it is from the spice trading days. when parts of europe would travel super long distances to get to Asia for stuff that could only be found there (silk, spices etc) The culture and the peoples looked very different from what Europeans were used to- Asians seemed exotic.

Exotic is something which is strikingly, excitingly, or mysteriously different or unusual.. since for people living in western countries the lifestyle, food,dress is very different from what they are used to it becomes exotic or unusual for them that's why its called Exotic Land

because Asia is different : peoples are polite, respectuous, they are nice and non agresiv,and you can dream another world when you are there!! when you see the asian girls in the streets they are allways smile!! just visit Asia!and you feel better and you never forghet it
