Hi first of all you would need to learn the basics before attempting to do such thing. There are many websites that will teach you how to do 3d developement , but you would need to learn the basics.

As every developer says, they recommend nehe for tutorials on OpenGL. Once you learn it you can have a big idea on 3D development and then use any game engine you wish since you already have hte background for it.

Nehe has around 40 tutorials from beg to advanced. Very well written and I learned alot from it. You can never stop learning from that site.

Enjoy and good luck on your 3D gaming! Remember once you finished with nehe goto its main page gamedev and learn its tutorials and if you need more help visit its forums

I'm coding a new 3d game, and looked at the 3d graphics my graphic designers made for the game, and I am going to have a headache for 3 weeks wondering how they do some of these things. What they usualy do is use some program called.. O I can't remember, but just Google 3d Graphics program. Besides that if you want a simple 3d graphic just use photoshop, or paint shop pros 3d features. It works by just looking at how big the image is then asking you how you would like it shaded. Very easy. An example of this (a graphic i did realy fast) is at www.beginninghost.info/trec.gif
If you ever need any help with the coding in any games just as matt@runempire.com
