If you want to believe, believe..I believe personally..All of the findings on other planets, such as Mars, the Moon. The signs of water and such, enough to support life..I believed before I knew that though. You have to look at the big picture..If "Whatever" created us, if in fact it was a someone, or something (I'm non-religious myself) created us, "It" could have created something else..I mean, 9 or even MORE other planets out there; they HAVE to be there for something. Kind of senseless to just be there for no meaning...And you have to think, if they're really are NO aliens, extraterrestrials, UFO's, whatever you wanna call them, WHY does the government work soooooo hard to cover up crashes and sightings? If there's nothing to worry about, well then, why worry? Why work so hard to cover up something so simple? I mean, the government does alotta useless junk that makes no sense and they coverup alot of other things..But they work so hard for sightings and such...You have to weigh both sides of the whole debate though and take your own side based on what YOU yourself believe..Not what other people say.

Take an astronomy class to get a better perspective on the universe. I don't know if there are really aliens, but based on the extent of the universe, it seems likely that somewhere far away life forms could exist. The earth and our solar system is such a small part of the whole universe that it seems silly to think that we are the only planet with an ecosystem that supports life.
If there are aliens, they are too far away for us to ever come in contact with them, even traveling at the speed of light it would take more than a lifetime for us to reach each other.

OK...proof, there is no "proof" at least none that has been able to be confirmed by the scientific community, as it has been all classified (which alone should say something). However, we live on a planet which is in the gravitational field of a star (we call it the sun). Now look up in the sky, see all those little white specks (there are millions of them, most of which you can't even see), those are stars too, with planets that go around them like the earth around the sun. Do you suppose it is possible that any one of those stars has even one planet that might contain life. The probability exists that there is life outside of the earth.

The truth is that there is a lot, a whole lot, around us that we don't even know about. Take the seas for example. With all our modern technology you would think that most of it has been explored, right? Well, the truth is that it hasn't. I am guessing not even 30 percent of the sea has been explored. Likewise, there is so much above our heads we haven't been able to explore yet. It's not hard really to think of life in other planets. Why not? Just because we can't see something is not a good premise for not believing in something. There is so much we don't know about our own bodies, what to speak of other living bodies.

If you want to believe something where there is no substantial proof, then you will have to believe based on what you want. If what you want is to believe, then believe because you want, not whether there is proof or not. What proof do you need if what you want is to believe? Believe if you want. I hope I have confused you beyond belief.

If we done more research on the planet we call home,we might be able to save it, who cares if there is life"out there" when we need to be concerned about life in here?
