If you have long hair, put your hair up first. You slip the hairnet over your hair as if you are putting on a shower cap or a swimming cap. As long as your hair stays tucked under that damn thing you'll be ok. You must be working in a kitchen. Some places let you wear baseball caps or paper sailor-type hats instead. Ask them.

If you have long hair, tie your hair in a pony tail at the back. Put the hairnet over your head and stuff in all the hair leaving just your face sticking out. You can leave out our ears, but it looks funny.

If it has an elastic band, stretch over all hair and trap it under the net and rest the band on top of your ears. If not, proceed with the aforementioned and presumably, you could tape the boundary of the hairnet to the sides of your head (albeit silly). Sorry, I tried :)
