I am also looking for help to get my house repaired from the hurricane. Fema gave me $400.00 and said that is all they are giving me. I don't have insurance and I would like to go back to my home in New Orleans. Any info would be appreciated.Please help with an answer?

i am PRAYING, thats all i can do, all advices will be conceited and aim for points but all i am doing is praying for things to fall in place, because when something is ought to happen, it shall and no force can stop it.

hold up..for girl above me...why is that irresponsible?? insurance now-a-days is expensive for hecka people! but everyone prays for the hurricane victims and i guess you are one that i will pray especially for because there are not that many people trying to get back up after the accident. so good luck for what you are trying to do and best wishes for trying to move back to new orleans...though i think you shouldnt because you never know if ur buyin another house where the same incident can occur.

maybe you should have studied. and im sure everyone will hate me for this but why didnt you have insurance? wasnt that a little irresponsible of you?
