Well see the financial thing isn't the problem. The baby would be well fed and taken care of.

I don't know if my boyfriend wants more kids (he has a son right now)... and if he does, it may be 3-4 years... and I've always wanted to have them young... like within the next year... or less... almost sounds like more of a relationship Q eh? Should I just hold out and hope down the line he wants more kids (he says he does?)... I'm not running out of time or anything here, just having them young is what I've always wanted.

Whats your opinions?

Sorry, I misunderstood and thought it was financial. Have you tried discussing this with him? Also, why have a baby without the benefit of marriage? There is nothing to keep the relationship together. At least in marriage, both parties feel obligated to try and work out their differences but, without marriage, it is too easy for one party to just walk out the door.

You need to sit down and have a heart to heart. Find out exactly what his plans are for your relationship. Marriage? Family? If his goals aren't the same as yours, it would be best to move on and find someone who wants the same things out of life.

I got married to my boyfriend when I was 19, we are 10 years into the marriage and its going strong, the best thing we did was wait to have a baby when we were BOTH ready, he being 4 years older was talking about having them for the last 3 years and I felt that 29 was a cut off age for me. He respected my decision, we had our lovely daughter in December last year, both of us are happy coz we both got what we wanted and we are doing a really good job with her, coz there is peace and understanding. Go with the flow, both of you have to be in the same place psychologically to do this right, its not always money, its mostly preparedness and the mind.

Talk to him!! See where he is on the subject. Just be prepared for him saying he might not want kids at the present time. I think you can still have kids and be young. Just give him time to lull over the subject and express how you feel to him.
