It's an endless battle with him walking his dogs. They mess everywhere and I don't think I deserve to live in this. What ultimatium can I give him so that this is fixed?

Withhold any form of affection. That usually works. Or if you're really smart about it, you'll accidently let loose the dogs somewhere in a desolute forest or park of some sort.

Well I commend you for speaking up. So many times it's "Me and my dogs or you can just go..." ~ However, what I am sensing here is that you have realized one essential thing...."That to be aware is to be responsible.." for one....secondly that your 'so called' boyfriend equates that your opinion in this matter doesn't count. You have already made a stand for what you are saying, not extolling anything self possessed regarding yourself, and it would seem that his larger problem is that the seeming issue of control shown in lack of regard on his part delineates exactly how YOU are to be treated....and I gather that you won't stand to be taking this crap much longer. It is so true about ultimatums, and if you offer one and don't keep it, it's as good as telling a lie. Now ask yourself...what are you worth? Not in billable time, but are YOU being as respected as his dogs? I cannot tell you what to do...I can only applaud you for having the guts to inquire, not only of yourself, but of the situation En Totale. No, you do NOT deserve this, so the only question remaining is this: "What ARE you going to do about this seeing that his regard for you is a bit on the dodgy side?" ~ I say this....wait until you are absolutely calm and THEN make a decision regarding any ultimatum. You're worth it.

I'm a dog lover...so it's hard to imagine having to give up my dog.
I would just tell him how you feel and let him make the choice between you or the dog. Or can you somehow come up with a solution that works for all parties. You, your boyfriend and the dog?

I hope so.

I feel more sorry for the dogs. They did not ask to be placed in a home where the person is selfish. Your boyfriend should grow up and take care of his responsibilities. Regardless of them being his dogs, do you not feel sorry for them? I would have to walk them myself. Can you imagine someone denying you to use the bathroom and how you would feel going knowing you were going to get in trouble? Hopefully, you don't decide to have kids with him, if he can't walk a dog..........what a looser!!!!

OMG how can you people honestly say lose them the boyfriend loves his pets and praying someone runs over them is just messed up... wait till he isnt around and take them one by one to humane society someone will love them or have him send his dogs to obdience training that would help... Plus it might keep you from losing your man because if he loves his dogs the way i love my cats it could be trouble,,, My husband hates my cats but they still sleep with him at night because he knows i love them and if he did anything to them i would never forgive him

Tell him next time the dog messes on the floor, instead of cleaning it up, you'll put it in his bed/clothes/something he wouldn't want dog poo on. That might make him reconsider letting the dog mess on the floor.

Say: Walk your dawgs and clean the mess by tomorrow or else it's dog soup for dinner.

Are you willing to follow thru if he doesn't comply? Ultimatums are generally not a good idea. You really don't know what the outcome will be. Good luck!

Tell him to get them trained and keep them clean or else you will be gone. There are so many other good men out there who will respect you.
