Just say No...you are not attracted to him in that way, you only want to be friends and hope he understands, sex with friends only complicates things more whether you are gay or not.

1 ) explore / discover for yourself why you wish avoid sex w/ ur friend [ e.g. un-prepared in general ; un-attracted to him ' that way '; interested in someone else; prefer to keep friendship separate from 'sex-ship' ; uncertain ]
2 ) decide if you feel comfortable sharing your reason with him
3 ) share that for now your answer is ' no ' -- give a reason if you so desire or explain that it is for reason/s you wish to keep private for now
4 ) ask him if is able to accept your ' no, for now ' : if yes, choose if you wish to pursue the friendship further & if not, dtmf [ dump the m***** f***** ]

Just tell him "no". You have the right to choose who you wish to have sex with. In any relationship NO means "no".
