For the most part the rites and ceremonies consist of lighting balefires,feasting and merrymaking.The solstice is also sacred to Vadir the Silent God,God of Vengeance and Retribution.Blots are held in his honour at Midsummer.

In some circles it is a Feary Holiday. It's good to leave offerings to the fearies! It's always good to keep them happy and on your side!
