It's surely is a battle. The world is certainly not lacking from gifted talents!
Zidane has the experience and the level of tactical skills to match.
Ronaldinho on the other hand, is young and is gifted.
In comparison, i would say the latter is more suited to the title.
Zidane has already reached his prime and will be his last world cup appearance as well. As for Ronaldinho its just gettin started.

Beckham, i don see him as a world's best, maybe his freekicks but hey not his skills. Okay he's a good captain on and off the pitch but that doesn't means he's good a player.
He's hyped tat's all i can say..period!
Proof: The match between England & Paraguay

Then af course u have Thierry Henry, Totti, Crespo, and on and on...
Like i said..its a tough battle..ultimately i summarize by saying that each and every player is unique in his own way.

Whoever said Ronaldo is undoubtedly wrong, because of question on his form and his inability to really endure. He is an excellent goalscorer and dribbler, but does not really do too much besides that. I would not be so confident in throwing one name out were it a couple years ago, but right now, I'd lean towards Ronaldinho, the midfielder on Brazil. If you haven't seen him in Joga Bonito commercials you could check his raw skills, or "moves", out in those, but the matches suggest he is the next Zidane, when Zidane was in his prime, but Brazilian, and therefore faster...and generally, makes things look easier.
