She comes to our house day and night and harrasses us to move because she has decided she wants to move into the house. She has not given us any legal notices to move, only her mouth and it's getting quite upsetting. We had to go out and find a place, but it won't be ready to move in until july 1st, and she does not want to wait. She is threatening to evict us, and I am getting sick of her crap. What would you do to keep her from constant harrassment? Don't say call the police because I already checked with them and they said that if she makes up lies about us that we could be arrested only on her "allegations". I am going crazy because of her, please help!!!

Move out, but first infest the house with cockroaches and flood the bathroom floor with a couple inches of water and let it sit there. That should teach her bitchy ***.

The question is what does your lease agrement say.. technicaly if there is no lease agreement then you could be evicted but if you have already paid she can't kick you out unless your neglectful... I don't know i do know that you want to take many pictures of the place as your moving out and make sure it is spotless and the carpets are cleaned then she doesn't have a reason to take your deposit. Landladies like their money. Hope this helps if you have the lease you could scan it and send it to me and i could tell you for certain

Now I'm not trying to be an ***, but I say move out. Her mouth is enough notice. All she has to do is tell you she wants you out and that's your eviction notice.

You really should try and find a place faster. If she wants to move into the house, she has every right to. It belongs to her.

I'm an ex landlord myself, and legally she can't kick you out or evict you with out a written notice. Where is your contract? Read it again and maybe you might be able to go to court and sue her. Don't know all the facts here and it would help if I knew them.

You have rights as a tennant and you should seek information from your local rental association. They can help you figure out your rights. But just know that you're moving soon and that she is a bitter old woman
