Actually, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was better than I was expecting it to be. I thought the action was pretty good and I thought Philip Seymour Hoffman made an excellent bad guy. There were some problems with the storyline (I thought), but it definitely was a fun diversion.

I thought it gave what I expected and more, like lots and lots of action. Also, the new director added in some original emotional stuff that prolonged the life of the series (like Ethan Hunt got married). It was great, and I thought it was the best in the series. However, there were some cheesy lines and Ethan Hunt is like Superman or someone invincible. Otherwise, I loved it.
Philip Seymour Hoffman was the best bad guy ever, a pure psychopath. Tom Cruise was pretty good too, considering his strange public stunts.

I like MI-3, especially the torture scene on Tom Cruise at the end of the movie. Where he was tortured to tell where the rabbit's foot is or they will kill his wife. That was a really gud scene.
