So I take it Saddam didn't gas the Iranians during the Iraq-Iran war? Interesting I remember news reports about it during that time. So Saddam didn't gas the Kurds in 1991? Interesting, since NBC, CBS, ABC, and CNN all reported that they were gassed. And I guess that Saddam didn't agree that for a truce to happen he would submit to inspections? Even though he halted them and refused to live up to his promises.
Think of it as if he was a parolee. A parole officer has the right to go in and search for weapons and drugs without warning and the parolee has no say in it. Saddam halted the inspections and wouldn't comply to his word.

Wow people still believe this myth. Saddam had all sorts of weapons he wasn't supposed to have. Like ballistic missiles capable of hitting europe and chemical weapons. A former Iraq general claims they moved some nukes to Syria and he personally witnessed it and the US has intelligence to that effect. Read up on the facts and stop getting your news from liberal reporters who hate Bush.
