Opinions are not right or wrong if you are talking about something that can be proven wrong (like something scientific).
For example some people believe the death penalty is right others wrong (which is neither) but if you say that the sun is blue then that would be wrong (since you have facts to say otherwise)

Well if you are dogmatic you think that your answers are automaticaly right. It really depends on the situation. For eg:Someone is religious and they obviously believe in a god but you dont. There is no proof of either so no matter what until there is proof there is no right answer where as if someone was wanting to debate the fact that the world is not flat and someone disagrees obviously there is a right answer. It all depends on the situation and what the opinion is. Everyone should be able to share their opinion, right or wrong.

The question should be:
When are our opinions right?

Everybody truly believes that they are right in their opinions, but only the enlightened, open-minded ones can change those opinions. Opinions are garnered from what we learn.

They aren't.
They are opinions.
We choose to believe that these opinions we have are correct, but an opinion is by no means proof of anything except our ability to believe something.

Because we're the ones that spoke them, and we're the ones that are aware of them. They're right to us, and maybe to others, but not everyone as everyone has their own opinion.

They are always right to us, but may be not for other people, as their answers are right for them, but probably not for us.
