The things that have happened to you are terrible and of course it is abuse. You really need a trusted adult to help you. The fact that you were able to post on here means that you are ready to get the help you need. I'm a licensed psychiatric social worker and I came from a really crappy upbringing too. My dad was physically abusive and my mom was pretty depressed and didn't stop him. I managed to get past the abuse and lead a productive life but even today, I remember the abuse and have to deal with the feelings surrounding it. You are too young and your life is too precious to be lost in the cycle of child abuse. The sooner you get help the more likely you are to move on successfully with your life. You don't need your parents permission to seek counseling. School counselors are an option. I recognize that trusting adults right now is probably difficult and I'm sure you still love your parents to some extent. What you need to understand is that if your parents are abusing or neglecting you, they are sick too and need help. Right now you need to realize that you are worth saving and not all adults are bad. Your life can and WILL get better. I don't know where you live and what resources are available there but I would be happy to help you in anyway I can. Please feel free to email me if you need more help or someone to talk to. My email is jazzy_59602@yahoo.com. Please stay safe and reach out to someone.

Actually, what they are doing to you now counts and your past reinforces it. I tried getting out when I was 17, I called the adoption agency but I was 17, and nobody cared. So the sooner you do this, the better. But be SURE, that this is what you want.
If at the root of your problems lies depression, running away will not solve anything, perhaps you can speak with a counselor and ask him to refer you to a doctor. That way they can prescribe medication that will help you feel better and if they see that anything is life-threatening, then they should get you out themselves.
They usually provide a safe place to sleep in if you go to them while you are having a crisis.
1-Bleeding wrists and crying
2-If they see that you are having repeated anxiety attacks.
That type of thing.

It absolutely does, and it sounds like they never stopped abusing you.
Talk to a counselor at school, or a teacher. You need help fast. Your city should have services to help you, like the Child Protective Services. Talk to them now, before you're considered to be an adult, to have them help you.
I know that right now things seem dark and that there is no hope, but once you get over this depression and see that you have so many possibilities, your life will be so much better.

Yes Until you are 18 it'ds STILL child abuse. you are a Very Brave Kid for coming as telling us. You will have to have Proof of the abuse, to do anything. do you have another Adult that knows, say a teacher or Family Friend? If it's only your Word Against theirs it will be nearly impossible to do anything. I'm sorry that's the best i can say, the Ball is inyour Court now. keep Being Brave and Tell someone you can Trust, and Pray.

Absolutely. Even just him hitting you recently is considered child abuse. Tell a teacher or priciple, or better yet, a school counseler; they'll contact who needs to be contacted; get you put into a much better situation than you are in now; with someone who will cherish who you are, and help you learn, rather than punish you for what you don't know.

yeah it does count. even tho it was a few years ago it still counts. my advice to you is to talk to an authority figure such as a cop or even a teacher that u trust at school. you dont need to deal with this anymore life is to short to be spent worrying about what your parents are going to do. please go see somebody and talk about this, once you do things will get better. and about that comment that ur life wont get any better, it will your 15 you have a lot of living ahead of you. the only way it could get worse is if you let this happen without telling anybody. please for your sake talk to somebody, u always have room to have a better life...always

Yes as long as you're still under 18 they can be held accountable. Don't kill yourself, there is more to life than what you've experienced, and you deserve to experience more! Talk to your guidance counselor at school, maybe he or she can help you get help.
Take care young one
