You will have bleeding eventually and cramping. If you have felt the baby move yet than you will have less movement. Although that happened to me and I found out that he was alive and well after they did the Doppler and found no heart beat they looked on a sonogram and saw him jumping around. Just keep on taking you prenatal vitamins, make sure you get enough rest and eat right. Drink lots and lots of water. When you are pregnant you need more of it. And go to your regular scheduled doctors appointment. Big factor with pregnancy to, limit your stress.

If you are scared you are about to lose your child see your doctor right away and he'll check for a fetal heart rate and if none is found he'll do a sonogram. He can look at your cervix to see if it has dilated. When you are pregnant the uterus is closed off so nothing can get in or out. When you miscarry it will start to open.
I hope your pregnancy is a good one.

If you go to the hospital make sure not to go to the E.R. go up to labor and delivery, down in the E.R. all they can do is a pelvic examination and listen to the heart beat. Up in the Labor and delivery area they can do a full examination including hook you up to the monitor and do an ultrasound there and if everything is alright you'll get sent home instead of sitting in the Emergency room for 2 or more hours.

Good Luck!

You generally don't find out until you start spotting brown blood changing to red blood as the pregnancy hormones begin to drop. At that time, which could be many weeks after the baby has died, you also start to lose the feeling of pregnancy. All of a sudden you 'don't feel pregnant' anymore...your breasts and tummy become softer and something tells you that it isn't right. If you do feel that this is happening for you, then please go to the doctor or the casualty section of your hospital. I wish you all the best.

suggestion?

go and get medical help with people who can scan you and are trained rather than advice from the untrained who have never scanned you
