David was best by far. He also wrote all their best songs, classic songs like "My Friend Spanner", "Love Is Lovely With You" and "Trickle Down Flower". Unforgettable stuff!

My favourite Beatle was George, both with the Beatles and as a solo artist. There was no Beatle called David, I think you mean Paul (McCartney).

Paul was absolutely the best, he had the better voice, was good on guitar, and was the driving force behind the Beatles. His songwriting talent was on a par with John's however.
Anyway, both of these pale in comparison next to Ray Davies of the Kinks.
