I use SBC Yahoo! DSL. I love it. It's fast and I've never had any problems. For us, it's only about $20-$25 a month.

here it is:
first of all, ask yourself...
do you care if you don't get to access those aol chatrooms?
do you care if you loose your email account?

lets say that it does not matter...

it is always better to pay 14.95 for a faster internet instead of 24.95 for dial up.

if you have a very good machine I would suggest for you to use a router even if you are not going to share your internet connection, why? because you will only need to program your username and password to the router, and avoid using SBC's software... it messes up the computers...

I have DSL at work with a router and Cable at home and is just as good, but I have heard a lot from other people and every person tell you about their own experience... with a good connection and good setup, you'll be just fine...

It's OK. The software is useless, but I like the connections. For some reason it's a lot faster than it's rated for.
