You should go with gold. What color accessories are you going to be wearing? If you are going to accent it with different colors then wear shoes to match those.

Since your dress is entirely made of the gold shimmery material, I recommend a shoe that has "some" gold in them. I saw a cute asian inspired high heel wedge ones at the DSW the other day. Good Luck!

If it's a light gold, white or possibly yellow will work. Dark gold- opt for darker browns or black. Avoid gold at all costs, too much gold is way tacky.
(But as the other answers say, shoes with a gold 'feel' or accent could work).

You could go with Black with gold flecks. Or Gold with black accents. Any combs in your hair? Definitely heels if you can wear them. Kinda depends on if you want to carry the gold through out . Solid gold top to bottom might look to tacky.

you could get a gold leather trim on the classic black leather high heeled shoe with 2-3 inch heel that looks kinda pointy at the tip of the shoe. the "one toe" style.
