I am not sure what type of horror movies you have seen so I will give a few suggestions of different types.
Classic Horror Film: Rosemary's Baby. (1968) A wonderfully creepy old school horror movie. I think it was Roman Pulanski's best work. It is not a gory movie, but very tense and suspenseful. Every sound, door creak, footstep left me on edge. There is a pretty intense rape scene, just to warn you. The lullaby that is sung at the beginning is truely creepy and sets the stage for this masterpiece. If old horror movies are your thing and you are looking for scare through suspense, this is it.
Asian Horror Film: Many asian films have been remade these days and nine times out of ten the remakes dont even compare to the scariness/creepiness of the origionals. There are two films in this category I recommend for different reasons. The first is Odishon, which the english title translates to Audition. I recommend this if you love gory and gross movies like Hostel. The movie moves along a little slow but sets everything up very well and makes you care about what is happening. After the first half you will wonder why this is a gory horror movie but the second half doesnt disappoint.
The second Asian Horror Film to recommend is Janghwa, Hongryeon. The english title is A Tale of Two Sisters. Like The Ring and The Grudge this is a suspense style horror movie, and I think it is way better than the other two,(both the japanese and english). It is very complex, but creepy in done in a very well shot and well put together way. So if you dont mind subtitles and one of these two are your type of film, check them out.
The final movie is if you love, chessy, uterrly insane, "I cant believe they actually made this" type of B horror film. The recommendation for this is "Blood Sucking Freaks." Definatly very out of the ordinary. Basically just a lot of nude women getting killed in very sadistic ways. Some of the stuff is out of the ordinary and just downright gross. Plus there is a creepy midget assistant to the main character. So if this type of B movie is your cup of tea, see if you can find a copy of this. The tagline of the film was " Join The Fun!... Human Dart Boards... "Home Style Brain Surgery"... Dental Hijinks!" Enjoy
Hope this helps and that different styles were covered. Check them out if they are up your alley. I hope they dont disappoint.

Depends on what you look for in a horror film. Most people are not scared by horror films these days.
If you just like an interesting concept, you could try these films:

Because I don't know what you have already seen, I am just going to list stuff you may have anyways.

Ohhhh. That's a fun one...Well, I've got to recommend more than one: Ginger Snaps and Ginger Snaps: Unleashed (independant, don't take them too seriously and they're very enjoyable), The Grudge and the original Japanese version Ju-On are excellent, Phone (a Korean horror film as I recall), The Ring and Ringu are always cool, Cry_Wolf, Final Destination Trilogy (only 1 & 2 are on DVD/VHS at this point though), the orignal Halloween, Halloween 2 and Halloween: H20 (the others are dumb), Hide and Seek is creepy, Uzumaki (a Japanese horror similar to Ringu), My Little Eye (gory, independant, not for everybody), Skeleton Key...
I'd have to say my favorite is probably, hmmm...Ginger Snaps.

I'm a BIG horror fan, and because I watch horror all the time, it takes a lot to scare me. But one movie in the last 3 or 4 years did just that.... scared the CRAP outta me!
"The Hills Have Eyes" In Australia, it's only just come out in cinemas in the last month or so.
Trust me, it'll scare the pants off you!!
But if you're looking for somethign a bit rare, "The Scarecrow" (or maybe just Scarecrow. It's been a while since I've seen it, so I'm not 100%sure.lol)
It's a little B-Grade, but definately worth a look.

It all just depends on what you like but The Devil's Backbone or the original version of The Wickerman are pretty good. Re-animator, the Tomb of Dr Caligary, I Spit on Your Grave and the Abominable Dr. Phibes are also good but fairly campy.
Audtion is a great Japanese film, with a great story, another one is Battle Royale which is about a bunch of high school kids that have to kill eachother

Dawn of the Dead by George A. Romero, that's my favorite horror movie. I haven't seen Tales From The Crypt Demon Knight in a long time so I would love to see that and maybe you should check it out too, that is, if you haven't seen it already. Good luck.
