No. You need to tell him you want payroll to cut a check NOW. If they "forgot" it's their mistake. Let them know you need the money by a certain day (count three days from when you call).

you should not have to wait, but most companies only cut checks certain days of the week and sometimes only once a week. as far as waiting until next pay day part of it depends on how often u get paid, but they can do what they want and make u wait. they should get u a check right away or when they next cut checks especially if it was your boss that forgot. it was his fault u did not get your check. it really stinks to be at the mercy of your employer. your boss should do what he can to fix his mistake. hope everything works out and they don't try to take advantage of u and make you wait. best of luck.

I have a lot of experience with employers, you set that person straight, especially if you called in when the sick time started, if that person didnt log your time in on the computer, and you watch that person put in the time on the computer, dont trust what that person says, you witness that the time for sick pay was accounted for with your eyes not with someones word, you have every right to, if that person has a problem, you can let that person know you just quit, and yes you can get that paycheck for sick time on the next paycheck

You can either wait until next payday like they said to, ask your boss for a check now or get a lawyer and sue for the money.

You shouldn't have to wait. Contact your Payroll or Human Resources Department and ask for help. Good luck.

They have shorted my husband's check numerous times where he works and it takes a day or two to get it. I do know that some people have to wait until next payday. I think it is ridiculous since it is their fault. I guess it just depends on who you are dealing with.

Your boss should call payroll and have them cut you a check immediately. I know, I'm a retail manager.

Yeah...normally they will make you wait until your next pay day. Try to talk to your employer tell him you really need the money.
