Rap has been around for a long time. Do you consider this music?

No I don't consider Rap as music, however in the early 50's the great Hank Williams recorded some rap music country style that was absolutely great because it made sense and told real stories about life.

I wouldnt exactly call it music. Rap is more of a poem with a beat. Most of the time its a vulgar and ronchy poem, but a poem none the less.

Yes its music. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. But, just because you may not like it, or may not understand it, does not mean it is not music.

no i consider rap as bullshit and crap.. its just saying silly words which rhyme,very fast.i hate all rappers especially eminem.wish they would all die.
