I'm sorry, but I can't help to be bothered. My husband loves to draw and look at the female body. I'm worried I won't live up to his expectations now. I know there are worse things that could happen, but how do I not let this change of life bother me? He only has drawings of thin beautiful girls of pics from the internet. None of the drawings look at all like me. He doesn't insult me, but doesn't say anything nice either. I'm not thin or fat, just normal with terrible scars from pregnancy. I love my new little baby, but don't want to lose excitement in the bedroom. What do women in my situation do to get through this type of situation? I have looked at other girls with stretch marks on the net, and don't find it ugly, but I wonder if men think differently.

I have two children, and where my stomach expanded so much (I was real small before) I have alot of stretch marks. The coco butter theory didnt really work, i tryed - but there's a creme call Eucerin that I started using and it made a big difference, and also Tanning helps them (or the illusion of them). But before i had a few big ones that almost looked like scars and the eucerin actually faded them all the way gone

I am exactly just like you, i'm not fat, or skinny, just normal. and i also have three kids, ugly stretch marks, but you know what, they will fade away in time, so don't waste your money trying to buy things to make them go away, because it will fade. So my husband doesn't say anything nice about me either, but he always puts me down, at least yours doesn't, so be happy about that. But we still have great excitement in bed. He still wants me... So now i'm on a diet and also exercising to lose all these baby fat that i've had for 5 years, and so far i'm doing really good at it now, because i'm all set for my kids, i have two boys and a newborn girl, so i'm happy now, and i'm gonna get back to my size and looks of when i used to look good, so i can make my husband jealous, because he is such an a** that i wanna prove to him and every body that i can do it.

the only people whose opinions count are you and your husband. my opinion of them was less critical once I knew they didn't bother my husband. He doesn't even see them when he looks at me. He does see the post-baby me with a few more curves than before, which he likes so much, I'm going to try to keep the last 5-10 lbs if I can. I have two beautiful babies, and if I had to acquire a few battle scars to get them here, it's worth it. (I have c-section scars, too.)
Two reassuring facts:
1. Stretch marks fade a lot with time. (Maderma scar treatment helps a little.)
2. Men are attracted to almost all women to some extent. If men can find Pam Anderson sexy with the stretch marks on her breasts and plastic surgery scars and that perma-bitchy look on her wrinkley face, then those of us with a few little baby-caused stretch marks probably don't need to worry too much.

okay this is really cheesy but i am 18 and have the same problem, i figured out that the sunless tanning lotion from mary kay covers them completely! so if they bother you that much you can cover them, but my hubby said that they really arent that noticalbe after a while....
