You can get iTunes for free from www.apple.com.
If you want free music FOR iTunes, they offer a free song every Tuesday. www.ilounge.com also has a whole forum dedicated to free, LEGAL music.
One of my favorite sites for free music is www.amazon.com- not a big collection, but fun stuff!

If you go to apple webpage and click on the itunes link, you can download it for free. It costs money to use the music store though. $1 for a song, $10 per album, and $2 for music videos and shows.
