Hello, I am a grandmother and I would never want to be without them. I also am from Texas and my sister is going through this also. They have a non-profit organization dedicated to informing a grandparent of the Laws of the State of Texas pertaining to Child/Grandparents access and visitation rights. They help grandparents with legal fees on a per case basis. They meet every other month on the 3 rd Sunday a 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. They also work with Texas Fathers for legal rights. the web site is http://www.grandparents access.org. Under Texas’ Family Code, grandparents have rights after parents divorce to continue to visit with grandchildren under court ordered visitation.
