Check out www.PODS.com great prices on moving. They drop it off, you load it, they pick it up and drop it off at the new location or store it until you are ready for it to be delivered. I used them to move and was very happy with the PODS(Portable On Demand Storage). Check them out, they will be your best bet. Beat the cost of a U-haul by $600 easy.

It really depends on how much and what size the boxes are...I've Fed-ex'd multiple boxes to my new location a number of times. If you send it ground, it'll take about a week...maybe a little longer. So if you're not in a hurry, this may be an option. You can save some money by taking them to a drop-off point yourself AND mailing it to a business address rather than a residence.

Hitch a ride with Joe's Chicken Truck. I'm not kidding, with the price of gas, its almost next to impossible. Even renting a U-Haul will cost you a ton of money with the miles and putting gas in the thing. I'm sure you could really hitch a ride with a long haul truck but do you really trust him? I wish I had an answer for you.
