Not being able to decide between Answers, alcohol or tobacco. I sometimes wake up from musing long over a 'good' answer, only to find that I have two fags on the go and am about to light a third and the damn wine bottle is empty. This usually occurs at 10:01 (when the offie has just closed) and I tell myself that I really have to go to bed early tonight ... and then have to do a reminder at 2:30am.
I have tried Answerholics Anonymous - well, I joined but that's as far as it went so far.
You know you're addicted, by the way, when you wake up in the morning, get a coffee, turn on the PC and check your email to see how many Best Answers you got overnight.
