I lost a really really great friend friday night to cancer.

Why can't god give cancer to the evil people on earth and take them away?

And why can't he leave the great people here on earth with us?

First, I'm sorry for your loss. I really don't know. I graduated from high school in 2005. A couple of weeks ago, I went to the funeral of a classmate of mine who was killed in a motorcycle accident. She was one of those people who was always laughing and smiling and cheering everybody else up. She was an amazing person. I really don't know why God took her from this earth after only 19 short years. I had mentioned to my mom about how happy she always was and that I was wondering why it had to be her. She told me that maybe she was meant to be so happy and cheerful so that she would have a bigger impact on those who were left.

I honestly don't know what the answer is to that question.
God bless, and don't give up.

Who's to say it's not part of the plan. If your friend is truley a great person, maybe he or she was called up to stand at God's side and help do the good things in the world. Good people are hard to come by these days, and perhaps God needed a particulaly worthwhile person. Who knows, maybe God decided you needed a guadian angel, and your friend is watching over you now.

wow, I am SO SO SO sorry about your friend, but "god" doesn't "do" anything to people. I blame the medical profession for lying and saying that cancer can't be cured. It can. It's a fact. But they don't want us to know about it. Renee Caisse was a Canadian nurse who, in the 1920's, cured hundreds of people from all types of cancer with a simple 4 herb tea. Look her up on google.

I feel for u. It seems u loved yer friend dearly. Just take comfort in the thought that we are not supposed to rely on our own understanding. God does the things He does because He is God, and who are we, His very own creation to ask why he does the things He does. There's a verse in the Bible that says The sun shines on the just AND the wicked.

God does the things he does for a good reason. Every one on the planet who believes in him asks this same question. they ask it mainly when some one dies or is born exct exct. you just have to believe that he has a reason and that whosever future was already planned and that you have to accept these facts. if you get frustrated thinking about it then take a walk go for an ice cream lifes to short to ponder about these questions. people for thousands have asked the same question and all you have to do is relax and just pray for good things but keep in mind personal gain!. I hope this might convince you not to worry!!!!!!!

One would say that the lifestyle that your friend chose gave him the cancer. That free will bugaboo.

Let's ask this question: Why blame God? Couldn't Satan have given him the cancer?

God does not give people cancer. We give it to ourselves by our
life style and our parents before us (hereditary). In the beginning
God gave us free choice and we choose to sin. Sin brings sickness, hard times and death. But Jesus changed all that when he died on the cross. He loves you and wants to help you! If your friend was saved "Jesus living in her heart" Then she is in heaven and alot better off than we are!!!

I am sorry for your loss. I have lost friends and family members and it is painful. Rather than blame your God for your loss, you might consider the nature of being human. We all die. Death might be delayed but it cannot be avoided, we all die. We need to be prepared for the death of those we love and we need to be prepared for our own eventual death. That is the nature of being human; we all die.
In time your pain will diminish. May you have peace.

Because God works in mysterious ways and we shouldn't try to question his authority or the way he does everything he does.
