Carmen Electra was recently photographed in a black & white polka dot dress and got style points for it. Unless they are a hideous color or the clothing itself is unstylish, go for it. And if it isn't your favorite look to wear to school, you can always wear it to family functions :)

Polka dots are fine, but it all depends on what you wear them with and what kind of polka dots they are.
Big bright ones- best worn ironically or with something more sophisticated and sleek for balance.
Smaller ones are easier to wear.

It depends on the color and size of the dots.
But yeah they're back in style. At least where I'm at. I think they're very sweet & girly. Black with white dots are best.
I agree with one of the answerer that there's one featured with Carmen Electra (check out the link below) which is rare because she's known for her raunchy image.
She looked very elegant and sophisticated.

polka dot can look great if you mix it with the rite clothes , their great for discos too . just dont go ott (over the top) lol... u dont wanna look like you just came on a time machine from the 60s ..... :):) ***^^## :):)
