why do ppl always always always tell me that i disappoint them...?

it makes me wonder if i'm ever gonna be good enough for anyone? even the leaders at my church tell me that. why do ppl say sh*t like that????

They may not understand you. I've had people tell me that I give a better presentation through the written word. When they meet me before they read my writing, they either like me or they don't. I feel it's unfair of anyone to judge me by that. I feel as if they don't understand me. Some people tell me that I'm easier to comprehend and understand when I'm on paper. *I* say that if they got to know the real me, they'd like me, so it's their loss...

Maybe you might be feeling a bit insecure when you meet someone and as a result, sending off the wrong signals? Have you promised anything and didn't come through with it?

Have you tried asking people why they're turned off by you? I was married for quite a few years and now that I'm starting over, seem to be in the same situation as you. When you hit on a solution, please let me know. I manage to disappoint and turn off a lot of people, too.

I'm not sure what would make someone say such a thing, and of course that has got to be upsetting to you. try not to take it to heart. think about it, is there possibly a reason to make people say such a thing or even something close to it? what are you doing or saying to give them that impression. hang in there and try to let it roll of your back and not let it bother you. dont worry about everyone's opinion, only thing that is important is how you feel about YOU and if that is not so great than you need to work on it for you, to make yourself feel good about yourself and confident. I'm guessing it's because you're a slacker.
Most of us don't disappoint everyone they know.
It must be your fault.
Try to get off your lazy @ss and do something besides complain.

b-cuz they want u to live ^^^ to their expectations... But FUX wat they want... just b ur-self and do wat u want and wat makes u happy... and dun care wat ppl say b-cuz they r just madd they r not u.... ur gud enuff for ur-self... obviously ur alive and G.O.D. put u here for a reason... ppl say things lyk that to make others feel badd b-cuz they feel badd... STUPID PPL... just say okay have a nice day... if they don't have anything nice to say then u say something nice... it wud totally get them wondering.... B U and B HAPPY no matter what or who!...
