Don't share files. On every program there is a check box or button that ask if you want to shar files from your computer or files you download. Select no. Then each program has a library where it send your downloaded files. creat a new folder and name it what you want. Go to the options in the downloading program and change the option that send completed file to you library and send them to the new folder you created. This may help alittle.

Actully there is a soluation. most of the programs people use to download music is because the Servers or the program runners are in the USA, find ones that Are in europe where downloading music is leagle Such as Torrent Spy and Bit commet

check out for sites which allow free music downloads in real audio/video formats.There are many such sites and quality is as good as mp3s and size less than 800kb!
the best site i know is www.bollyexpress.com but u can search for more and this is fully legal

the first answer is absolutely incorrect, there have been cases of 13 and 14 year old teenagers being charged for music piracy, and it can ruin the finances of their families, the fines are outrageous and they are unrelenting...downlowding illegal music is a crime, and in doing so you are playing a game of russian roullete...buy your music from sites that are operating legally, or risk the consequences, its very simple

Just purchase the songs you want at yahoomusic.com they are only $1 each which is very cheap or just buy the cds.

Don't do it. It's not how to prevent yourself from being caught, it's the fact you need to not do illegal things.

don't worry about it at as long as you don't use kazaa or bear share or lime wire you won't get caught, i recommend mp3int.com or mp3fusion.net, bit torrent is always a good choice to
