Speak for yourself. You're to fat, lazy, and stupid to type or spell correctly. And your opinions reflect your stupidity and laziness. America is the greatest country on earth. We have done more good for the world than all other countries put together.

America is very unbalanced economically. I find that the wealthy get many of the benefits and even though there are aid to the poorer people, much of the money is wasted and I agree that many in the upperclass take many things for granted. I know that other countries do not like Americans because of the stereotypes but not all are like that. However I do not like the direction our country is going into. I used to have hope that our country is not as bad as I thought it was until the "people" elected Bush into office twice. Our education system really sucks except for a select few. That is my opinion.

The schools are not teaching kids much, and the kids don't care about school work--a minority of kids do care. Some of us are fat and lazy, but others do work out and eat right. Some of us are selfish and some of us are dam generous.

We're not better than most countries, but we're not worse than a most of them either.

I'm American and proud of it. We are a fortunate people to be born in this country with the rights and opportunities that are granted to us. It is true, this country has it's problems, but all countries do. The entire world is progressively becoming more corrupt. I would not have wanted to be born anywhere else.

I think the people of this nation are mostly well meaning. Yea, we are fat, lazy, and selfish. This seems to happen when you achieve a part of the American dream. Wealth and power.
I live in the south, and was hit by hurricanes. Alot of help found me & my family. But we also helped ourselves. Picked up the peices and carried on. we are still struggling, but Thank God we are ok. I do want to scale back, tho. I slept in a hammock for a week, and I liked it. Back to basics, put things in perspective. Please pray for us all.

Well, as i m NOT frm America, i think tht ur question will be better answered by me because i dont feel bound by that feeling of belongingness to your nation.

well, i think tht u r quite judicious in admitting tht u r not as gr8 as u think u r. i have met many americans and all tht i can get out of them is a sort of unreasonable pride in their country, which, believe me, is only natural and not a wrong thing to feel, but it IS wrong if u look down at the other nations which r also on the verge of being "superpowers"... not in the military sense, though it is tht too, but economically too. the ppl of other nations feel slighted and tht alters the entire philosophy of world harmony.
don't get me wrong - i harbour a geniune respect for the States - in some aspects, it IS a gr8 nation but it has its drawbacks too.

i think tht i m justified in comparing US to relatives which some of us have - very rich, a trifle selfish with ulterior motives in every aid tht they give - grudgingly or not, taking some of the world's nicest things for granted, etc etc. i think tht u grasp wht i mean to say.

Sorry if i have offended any1 but thts my pt of view.

I think we always were that way. We have always had issues. It's just that new generations are recognizing it.

And I think many countries have this same issue.

I still think we're a great country!

There's no need to be the best. No country is the best, but we are indeed great.

I was born here, and I am taking full advantage of that. I don't see that as something deserving my pride, and I don't believe I owe anyone anything.

I'm glad to have traveled around the world, and to have become acquainted with people from other parts of the world.

I live for ME, not for my country tis of thee!

I agree with you 100% because of the way everything is going and everyone is acting. Disrespecting and giving up upon helping others.
