you need more potasium in your muscles... bananas, oranges & grapefruit or an OTC pill helps a lot... I used to get them all the time..unfortunatley allergic to all those foods.. so ended with the pills.. they work well for me....I have ven noticed if I miss taling them I am still ok for a couple of weeks or longer..
The other problem could be your shoes..high heels stretch out the tendons in the calf muscles... after wearing them sometimes I notice the cramps are worse...

Eat more bananas , they have potassium in them, or take the potassium in a pill form daily. Also add some calcium to your diet..

(1) dehydration (salt tablets can help with this. They'll help you take on more water).
(2) low potassium (bananas help with this)
(3) depending on your age, growth spurts can cause this as well. Stretching exercises will help minimize this.

I've always heard that if that happens you need to drink more water. That happened to me a lot when I was pregnant.
