I have long, thick, slightly wavy light brown hair and green-brown eyes if that helps any. I need hair and beauty tips. I'm wanting to amaze everyone and show them that I have looks and brains. Please help!

play with your hair & makeup, go cloths shopping, have fun doin it & be proud of the way u look.
p.s. after a while die will jack up ur hair, ive seen it happen! green eyes rock! plus, color contacts r disposable i think?good eyelashes.

You need to find a look that you love - on you. Look through magazines and keep a file on your favourite hairstyles and clothes. Unless you're very talented with that sort of thing, don't do anything drastic to your own hair. A stylist can help you achieve the look you want. Clotheswise, try before you buy. What looks great on someone else may not work best for you. Dress to flatter your figure and buy things in a size that fits. Make choices that bring out your best features and make you feel beautiful.

Don't dye your hair for god's sake unless you feel like doing it forever! Your eyes sound beautiful so don't listen to that pinhead who answered first! You should go with your wavy hair and get some curling product at any CVS or whatever is by you, also get a curling iron and play with it...for make up go subtle...hell make a free appointment at JC Penny's make up station and they will help you...just remember too much is REALLY too much. stay simple and classy...one way to find hair styles is to look at magazines then play around with your hair and find what you can do and what you can't and how to do what you can! And no matter what you think I'm sure you are already beautiful

My suggestion is: cut your hair short! Go to a hairdresser who has been highly recommended by family or friends and tell him or her what you put here. A good hairdresser will help you get something dramatic and flattering. Especially with wavy hair, cutting it short can be VERY cute.
Don't go blond, don't get blue contacts and don't straighten your hair like the people above suggested. Then you'll look like everyone else on earth with blue contacts and bleached, straightened hair who wants to look like Barbie. Anyway there's nothing nicer than green eyes, and nothing that stands out more in a world of flatirons than waves or curls!

Get a great cut and put a weave in it. Don't be cheap either. It really makes a difference. Maybe use 3 colors, but make it look natural. Contacts would be great, but if it comes down to what you can afford, do the hair thing first. Go on line and look at the various catalogs, and get some really cute clothes. You can do that and not break your budget.

Probably look through some hairstyle magazine & head to the nearest salon to get a hair makeover with highlights & a fresh new haircut.
For beauty tips, just be yourself and dazzle them with your radiant personality.
I don't think you need much in terms of makeup... as it's only high school, a minimal look would best suit you.
I suggest a simple lip gloss will do just fine.

Read ELLE Girl and try to find knock offs of what is there. Go to Abercrombie, or Zara or H&M or Forever XXI, or Urban Outffiters or Antropologie.
Use your hair in a chignon and get big sunglasses will make you look sophisticated.
Wear jeans and nice flip flops and simple T-shirts, it will make you look not like a fashion victim, and that you didn't waste too much time getting ready, you are good looking with anything you wear (thanks to the chignon and the sunglasses).
Wear lip gloss, and eye shadow on bronze shades. Go to any department store and they will advice on the eye shadow to make your greenish eyes pop.
Accessorize with a nice belt and a cool neutral gigantic purse, and go start the whoring. Just kidding

All right....since I"m a man I know know what other men look at. They like a woman that looks ordinary enough to approach but not unkempt. I would say you're features are wonderful...however, jazz up the competition by wear clothing that is only partially revealing (NO THONGS THOUGH....I HATE THAT!!) Cleveage is a great way to make friends if you do it correctly....but another way to make yourself the school slut in no time. Just show your best features.....the brains will be soon to follow when people are attracted to you. #1....always make eye contact with people....men find it really sexy!

Sweetheart - anyone worthy of knowing that you have looks and brains will know without you doing anything to yourself.
Only change your looks for yourself never for anyone else's benefit.
If you want to do it for yourself, flick through some beauty mags and or websites, gather a few pics and take them all into a salon.
They will be able to get an idea of the kinds of styles you like and give you a makeover that's suited to you.

go to a salon and get highlights or something. get it cut, with layers. i had long brown hair and then i got it cut a little below my shoulders with layers and my bangs up to my chin. its really cute and different! i would buy a straightener too.. they are only like $30 for a Wet to Straight straightener by Remington. its really good!! i TOTALLY reccomend it!! but i would get the skinny/short iron .. i dont know what to call them! lol! you should wear mascara and eyeliner (around $6 for both of them) .. it makes your eyes look better!! i hope i helped.. seeing is how i'm going into 8th grade! LoL. take care!

go to abercrombie ( that can who everyone) i got this SO cute sweater from there it comes below the elbows has a hood v neck and a creamy color...well anyway you can also scrunch your hair..
1. wash your hair
2. ring it out/ dab with towel
3. get your gel
4. put about a 50cent size of gel in your hand and scrunch your hair
5. do that as many times as nesiceriy (can't spell lol)
6. dry to when hair is damp
7. your done!!!!
