How can i reformat an apple dvd-r?

i recordered something on a dvd-r, but i want to erase it so the disk seems like brand new - how can i do that? thanks!

you can't do this to a dvd-r disk. What you can do is buy a brand new for a couple of bucks. This is the society of spending, so re-using something is actually not good for the system. Are you a communist?? ;-)

dvd-r's cannot be formatted, you need a dvd-rw for that.

well, if is not a re-writable, then it is impossible
