Yes because it means they cheated. Not only did they cheat they brought home a disease. If it was just cheating than maybe we might be able to work something out but to bring home such a deadly disease is unforgiveable. The spouse wants to screw around fine but I shouldn't have to die because the spouse didn't have enought sense to put on a condom. With my spouse I should be able to not have to worry about catching STD:s

WOW! This is certainly a deep question - not one tht most would answer honestly. I will be as real as I can be here. If my spouse brought home HIV, would I leave him? I guess the circumstances of him contracting the disease would be the relevant issue - cheating - yes, I am gone - he knows it, sorry he is ill but not my problem if he has been outside of our marriage (sexually). Contracted by means that he could not prevent - NO, we would get through it together.

yes, without second thought....if my spouse brought home HIV it would mean he was out cheating on me and there is no exceptions or excuses for a cheater.....

I would still try to work it out remember till death do us part? Are you sure you haven't already contracted it yet? to leave and get involved with another would just complicate matters more. Defiantly get counseling. Is he willing to work it out? Is he being honest about the whole thing? Has he asked for forgiveness?

I would if he got it by cheating and sleeping around on me for sure. But if it was from a blood transfusion or something like that no i would not!

If he got it from ******* someone else while married to you, then that's quite 2 rules broken. But if something else, like damn needles or something, I'd try and help it through it.
