Yes it sure does if the people taking the advice and help do what is right and listens to the wise advice ... Only if you are willing to go and have an open mind.

My friends are divorcing. He made appointments for counseling. She went but told me that she never intended for anything to come of it and she just wanted OUT as fast as possible.

But it's really benefitting him. He will be able to go and find a relationship without hauling as much baggage into the next relationship.

Yes it does work and it's worth trying. I'm sure different people have different results, but when you find the right counselor they can really help you.

Depends on where you go. Find an organization with proven statistics, and a clearly-stated goal and product.
