If it is a name that derives from your heritage or a name that you and yours like, then it doesn't matter what other people say about it. It's your decision, I think it's a pretty name.

Nevaeh = Heaven (spelled backwards of course).
pronounced (Nah-vay) or (Neh-vay)
Its a pretty name but all too common. Im only 20 and the whole backward spelling name thing hit when i was in 11th grade. I know of 5 girls that named their daughters Nevaeh (for first or middle name).
Im more into unique/ meaningful names. It is a pretty name though.

It's pretty, but if you're into unique names, this is the wrong way to go. This name's been picking up a lot of popularity and by the time your daughter gets to school, there will be other girls with the same name and it will not be unique. However, if you like it just because of what it represents or the way it sounds, good choice!

This poor attempt at a name screams "wanna-be-original". Sorry but I have been hearing this one for wuite some time. I feel sorry for any child with this name. Don't do that to them. If you must, make it their middle name. That way, they won't have to spell it out explain it ALL the time.

My husband really likes that name because it's "heaven" spelled backwards! He wanted us to name our first daughter (when we have one) that, but I talked him out of it! It's not that I don't like the name, I just don't see us having a daughter with that name!
So, I do like the name, but I don't want to name our daughter that when/if we ever have one!

Believe it or not, it does matter what other people think about your child's name. Whatever name you stick him will could come around and bite you in the butt when kids start teasing him. Kids are cruel, I should know, lol.

I think it is very pretty, but it is actually a pretty popular name. Odds are, if you name you daughter this, when she is in school, there will lots of other girls with the same name.

Oh please don't inflict this weird name on a helpless child. Choose a name that won't lead to teasing or difficulty in spelling or pronunciation. Pick one that will look good on a job or college application.

I know it's HEAVEN spelled backwards, but it's cruel. Just name the kid "Please-Beat-Me-Up" and save the bullies some time.
