It only happens after it is driven. After it sits for an hour or so and cools down it stops. It doesnt seem like its overheating. maybe the valves.

Check the belt tensioner. The spring may be going bad. Try taking off the serpentine belt as soon as your done driving it and see if the knock goes away.
