I mean, not like self concieted or anything, I just mean if ur not completely outgoing. Like u like hanging out with ur friends but u also enjoy writing, art, and alone time. I think I'm def more of an introvert, some ppl view me as shy, or at least they have. But I'm happy the way I am, but then again, do most people think being an introvert is bad?

Dear Introvert Friend

I guess you see the point, that most people did not understand us (the introvert). Like you, I enjoy being alone most of the time, without another human being around I can be myself. As a result, I always being label as shy. To me, introverts are not necessarily shy. And introversion cannot measure by shyness. Because if you carefully study the extroverts, you can see how shy they can be.

We introverts are commonly seen any where in the world, yet not fully understand by the extroverts. Often you hear some of the unfit compliments from others is clearly indicate that misunderstanding. Sometime we just need to speak up a little for ourselves just to shield us from these potentially defeating comments.

I really cannot understand why some people see introversion as a problem or a bad thing. Like I can never know why my extrovert parents do not accept the way I am and trying to change me all these years.

I guess it is because most people focus on our weakness too often and ignoring our unique talents. And their blind compliment is the result of such issue.

The fact is that we introverts often being oppress and ignore. I hope that you may not be trouble by this fact, and continue to make the world a better to live by living your life as a good example.

Good Luck

I'm very introverted, no close friends and never go to any kind of social event or speak to people in public unless it's absolutely necessary.
I really don't feel the need to be outgoing and I enjoy being alone, Just reading, Biking or surfing the net.

Not so bad, but most people wouldn't like it.

Absolutely not! You have to be comfortable in your own skin and like who you are! Yes, those who are extroverted do think introverted is a bad thing but it's because they don't understand and they are wrong! I suggest you read a couple of books; "The Introvert Advantage: How to Thrive in an Extrovert World" and "Confessions of an Introvert" are great ones and even pass them to your extroverted friends to borrow and read.
