I had good luck with my Honda. It was a 89 accord. I got it in 98 and had it until 05. It was a great car. Very few repairs and had 190,000 miles when I finally replaced it. I sure it is still running for someone else. It also got great gas milage and I could still fit some friends in it.

A used echo or geo metro or neon.Oh I 4got about the Festiva.

geo metro or a nova... as long as you don't care about looking cool. hyundai's are relatively cheap and last forever.
