Because a majority of chat rooms on yahoo are really cruddy. I get the same problem when I go on yahoo chat, ending up with a room of robots trying to get me into some porn site.
Look through the sub directories on the chatrooms and you might find that some places are more popular for us humans to visit. Don't get mistaken by talking to a robot (I've done that once). lol

Chat rooms suck, you need to get people to notice you and then try to get them to chat with you. It all sucks, even seasoned chatters get the shaft all the time.
