He says it shouldn't matter to me. He'll take me out for my birthday on a different day. I can't even believe that he would consider ditching me on my birthday so he can go out with the guys. What do you think?

I am a guy and the answer is No! It is not OK to ditch you on your B-day and go out with other guys. If I were you I would try to find another guy.

You know it isn't if you have to ask. Can you imagine a lifetime of living with someone that disrespects you so much? I doubt he will change. What do you want in a mate? How is this relationship working for you? Weigh it out. I suspect he doesn't want to look whipped in front of his buddys. Immature.
