A mixture of lemon juice - fresh - and bicarbonate of soda, that you get from the supermarket - ask your mom.

The lemon juice is a bleaching agent and the bicarb of soda is a non-abrasive cleanser. It tastes a bit rough but you get used to it. Brush your teeth with the mixture once every two days or so. Don't brush too hard, it's not necessary.

Trust me, this works far better than the expensive, messy chemical agents they sell, and it's safer. You can pronounce all the ingredients, so that's usually a good sign.

I think that the Crest line is the best. But something else that has helped me is the Listernine Whitening mouthwash. It can be harsh but really works.
