There's no real reason to do this yet I can't break this habit. Is it some sort of dark power I'm interested in? Does it feel good to put down myself? Someone tell me what's goin' on psychologically. To me it seems that I do it to save people the trouble. What do u think?

Believe it or not your behavior is not uncommon. It is a form of a coping mechanism that you have developed whether from your childhood or somewhere else. It is always less hurtful to say bad things about yourself and down yourself than to potentially hear it from someone else. No I wouldn't say there is a dark power in you, more like you have a low self-esteem.

When was the last time you saw your family doctor? You need to make a appointment with him or her and tell your doctor everything you are feeling and doing. Your doctor may suggest you see a psychiatrist or a psychologist or a counselor of some description. You may need some anti-depression medications too.

Investigate for your own self what situations or feelings you feel bad about. Also investigate and discover the good points and good qualities you possess as well. Acknowledge the accomplishments you made in your life and feel good about them. Don't solely concentrate on all your negatives, think about your positives. It may seem impossible but trust me it is do-able. Take it from someone that knows. I hope this is helpful and I hope you feel better soon! Good luck!!

Sometimes it makes people feel good to feel sorry for themeselves. It also can be a defense mechanism. You might feel like other people don't like you and look down on you so you quickly agree with what you believe they feel about you in order stave off the pain of hearing them say it themeselves.

God made you! You are wonderful to him! As a man thinketh so is he. Stop putting yourself down or you will become what you have been saying about yourself. Build yourself up instead. You will then become what you have always dreamed of being. The power is in your mouth. God bless you!

Maybe you have low self esteem or your depressed. There could be a lot of reasons for it. I don't think your really helping yourself any by doing it to save people the trouble, because they will do it anyway.

You need reassurance from others to be ok with yourself. If you talk yourself down, others, then will tell you how great you are and you dont need to beat yourself up. YOu are insecure about something. I wouldn't worry about it, just look at it like "you ain't here for a long time, you're here for a good time"

dont worry be happy

or see a therapist

I feel that you don't have all the answers and you maybe you are in need of little self confidence. I know that you are searching for who you are but whatever you need of will come from within you not from someone else you would like to be like. and stop doing what everyone else does so you can belong. and you will have to like yourself before others will like you. So Stay strong and stay safe.

WELL ALL I CAN SAY IS IF YOU BELIEVE IN THIS DARK POWER, SOUNDS LIKE YOU NEED TO ASK THE GOOD LORD FOR HELP. PRAYER NEVER HURTS! SOUNDS LIKE YOU MIGHT HAVE SOME DEVILISHNESS IN YOU IN A BAD WAY THAT IS. IF YOU ARE DEGRADING YOURSELF TO SAVE TIME SO OTHER PEOPLE DONT HAVE TO DO IT, YOU SOUND LIKE YOU HAVE A LOW SELF ASTEEM AND NO CONFIDENCE IN YOURSELF EITHER. COUNSELING WOULD ALSO BE AN OPTION FOR YOU.. GOOD LUCK!

You do it for attention and because you are secretly twins who never developed two bodies and the non-dominant one is growing in your brain area, right on your frontal lobe and is about to bust out of your skull, when arrrrrrrrrrrrgh! your immune system starts nibbling at all of his extremities until he nearly disappears. So, really it's not you picking on yourself. That little voice in your head is a real voice and it's him trying to get out.

sounds like you have low self esteem. Maybe punishing yourself allows you to feel the pain physically because you don't know how to deal with the emotional pain. Find something you enjoy...some sort of hobby to build up your confidence.
