Above 0 and below 7: acidic
7: neutral
above 7 and below 14: alkaline

There is no acid that has a pH of 0, nor an alkali that has a pH of 14. The strongest acid only has a pH of about 0.4.

even acids can have it above seven.

thie higher the number the more alkaline, 7.0 is nuetral, lower is acidic
