I am planning on selling my house to a good friend and his wife, with the market the way it is I could make a lot more than what I am asking them to pay. The are newlyweds and don't have a lot so I am willing to sell it to them at a good price. Yes I will still be making some money but not as much if I were to go with someone else. Am I crazy for wanting to help out a friend or should I go for the money and just step on my friends????

If you are in the financial position to be able to do this, the choice is yours. If other family members are dependant on you, you might want to choose their welfare over that of your friends. Friends tend to come and go, but family is forever.

Good luck with your decision.

Your friends are stepping on you. You deserve to make market value on your property. Anything else is a present. I would sell it for what I could and give them the cash difference if you want to be appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!
