I like bikinis (or any two-piece swimsuit) because they make going to the bathroom easier (you don't have to pull off the whole damn suit before you can pee). And if you want modesty, you can go for a tankini, so that you have all the advantages of a two-piece, but the modesty of a one-piece.

Also, a thing that I've noticed about one-pieces is that the butt tends to wear out faster. I had a one-piece that started to get fuzzy bits on the butt after I'd had it for two months, while a bikini I'd had for two years never showed any signs of wear...the only reason I had to throw it out was because a friend's dog chewed on it!

I think that it depends on what your body type is. I think tankini's are the way to go. The tops do not hug to every curve which can be helpful with some women. There is also more choices with them as you can mix and match. :)

the kind of bathing suit you wear should depend on your size. if you are skinny it shouldn't matter what you wear but if you are really heavy sent like me i wouldnt suggest a bikini!
