Depending on what you mean, most of the time people don't make a specific effort to clean themselves up after heterosexual intercourse. However, men will often urinate after the act just because they need to, and that's generally sufficient to sterilize his urethra against anything that wouldn't infect him even if he washed with soap and water.
Other than that... I don't know anyone who thinks sex has to lead to a shower so they can hose themselves off.

It all depends. Most men are in a hurry to get out of the house before the husband gets home, so they may have to wait and shower when they get home.

I really don't do anything. I like to leave things just as they are so I have a trace of the scent saved for later.
