Did anyone see the Omen? was it scary?

I saw it......years ago with the origional. Since the new one is pretty much a carbon copy with a few subtle differences, I will leave this one for a rental. The origional is creepy, but this is not a very scary movie. Creepy is a great word for it. People dont understand just because something is a "horror" film does not mean it is "scary". People gotta stop complaining when horror films dont scare them by saying "it wasnt scary". There are many types of horror films that are about more than blood and "let me pop out from behind something to startle the audience cause that is good for a cheap scare"

The Omen is like a Rembrandt someone did with a paint-by-the numbers set. It looks like the original, but there's just something missing.
All of the scenes are there, but it just feels like everyone is going through the motions. Liev Schrieber and Julia Stiles can both act, and they do their best with what's there, but it's not much.
On a scary meter, about a 3. On a boring meter, about an 8.
Rent the original film.

the omen was an awesome movie. i havent seen the original, but liked this one. there were a few scary parts, but this was not a very scary movie. i would go see it again every day of the summer, if i could. i would give it a B+. and nothing happened to me on that day.

I honestly thought it was scary...mostly just that "make you jump" kind of scary...the deaths were all a little cliche but it was a good concept.

I didn't, but my son did said it was the scariest movie he'd been to in a while.
Nope nothing happened to me that day , life went on as usual

hhahha nahh i enjoyed da movie tho.. i NEVER n mi life jumped on any movie.. but thiz one was kynda jumpy!!! hehehe mi bf was like gurl chill out im like man did u see dhat thing!!!
